At Dublin’s CHQ building, use your mobile ticket to enter EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum and follow 20 galleries at your own pace. Collect passport stamps, hear stories of Irish emigration, and download the free audio guide in nine languages. Allow 1.5 to 3 hours, especially if genealogy interests you.

“This was our second time through the EPIC museum. It's a self paced/guided tour that has something for everyone. They give you a "passport" to stamp at each exhibit and our kids got a kick out of that. The exhibits tell some of the history of Ireland and are, in large part, interactive. We took this tour on the day we landed in Dublin (flying in from the US) and found it to be a great way to keep moving and stretch our legs. The kids enjoyed it as well as the adults. There are restrooms and a place to get a snack if you're hungry.”

“Quiggs, our guide was very informative & funny! A great experience to see many places & not worrying about driving. The only things I recommend that aren’t told beforehand- bring money to tip the guide & driver at the end of the tour. It’s not mandatory, but it’s a long day & they do a great job. Also, being cash if you want to ride the shuttle at Giants Causeway. It’s a long walk- especially for people w back or knee problems and they don’t take cards. They do have charging ports on the bus, so bring a cord. It’s a long day w lots of stuff photo ops and…”

“This was a great self-guided interactive tour that was well worth the fee! I downloaded the free audio tour guide app, which was helpful to provide a summary for each room/section of the museum. I spent more time than I planned and could have eaily stayed longer. Do make this part of your Dublin Itinerary!! The only constructive feedback would be that there was no information posted for Shane MacGowan and his contributions to Irish music globally.”

Irish Whiskey Museum: Whiskey Blending Experience - The opening story: from Irish origins to modern revival
Museum Tours in Dublin, Museum Tours in Ireland, Museums Around the World, Tour Reviews

Irish Whiskey Museum: Whiskey Blending Experience

9.Irish Whiskey Museum: Whiskey Blending Experience

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 577 reviews · 1 hour 15 minutes (approx.) · from $44

At 119 Grafton Street, learn how Irish whiskey rose, fell, and returned, then taste four styles with a guide such as Lydia, Colm, or Donal. You’ll create a personal blend and take home a small bottle. The 75-minute experience is in English and suits both whiskey fans and curious beginners.

“The experience and tasting were enjoyable. The team indeed had extensive knowledge and shared many intriguing curiosities. However, the "Whiskey Blending Experience" was somewhat lacking. We only had one portion to taste, and we used that same portion to blend. Essentially, you end up with the options you liked the least, thus mixing your "leftovers" from the tasting. It would have made more sense if we could have tried what we wanted, and then they could have mixed it for us in the proportions we chose in the miniature bottle.”
